Join us as a Training Facilitator - Western Cape at TSU Protection Services

We are seeking an experienced, skilled Training Facilitator to join our training team at TSU Training Solutions, Cape Town.

Requirements

1. Formal schooling and qualifications: Grade 12, ETDP Course, Qualified and registered as a SASSETA Assessor and Moderator, Registered as a PFTC Assessor and Moderator, PSIRA Certification Grade A, SAPS Competencies for Handgun, Shotgun, Self-loading Rifle, and Manual Operated Rifle, Range officer for Private Use and Business Purposes, Range officer for Tactical Related Courses.
2. Experience: 2 Years in the Private Security Industry or Organs of the State, 2 Years as a Range Officer and Tactical Range Officer, SME on weapons and skills training, Minimum of 3 Years' experience in Training and Facilitation, Registered and active member with the weapon's regulatory bodies.
3. Knowledge / Skills and Duties: Basic Computer Literacy, Firearms & Firearm handling and training, Facilitation Skills, ETDP Knowledge, Planning & Decision-Making Skills, Advanced Driving Skills, Communication Skills (English), Knowledge of Unit Standards & Vocational programs, Knowledge of SETA requirements, Development and maintenance of facilitation materials and assessment tools, Administration and report writing skills, Interpersonal Skills, Customer Liaison, Reporting skills, Conflict Management Skills, Problem Solving Skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and train new TSU and AM members on SASSETA / PFTC Unit Standard affiliated Training & Qualifications.
• Deliver compliance and re-training of current TSU and AM Operational Security Officers deployed at Sibanye Cooke Operations as needed.
• Train and re-train current TSU Operational Security Officers and external clients as needed.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area.
• Arrange physical resources for training programs.
• Follow administrative procedures for learner registrations and qualifications.
• Comply with verification and assessment procedures by regulatory bodies.
• Research, develop, and maintain current and new training materials.

Remuneration
