Job description

Training Facilitator - UPD Lea Glen, Roodepoort

We are seeking to recruit a permanent Training Facilitator for United Pharmaceutical Distributors (UPD).

The position will be based at the Lea Glen branch, reporting to the Training & Development Manager.

Requirements:

  • Warehouse / Supply Chain Management experience is essential.

Overall Objective:

To deliver learning and development interventions that meet current and future organizational needs, aligned with the business unit operating plan, group learning and development framework, and national skills development agenda.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Coordinate delivery of learning activities according to the approved calendar, budget, and business needs.
  • Deliver leadership and management development programs to support organizational growth.
  • Implement technical training that supports quality standards and business objectives.
  • Evaluate, monitor, and provide guidance on learning and development initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Monitor learner progress and competence levels, reporting accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with group policies, quality assurance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct training needs analysis related to technical requirements and leadership skills.
  • Design, facilitate, and develop training materials.

Job Knowledge: Learning methodologies, theories, and principles; Skills Development Act; Principles of adult learning.

Job-related Skills: Facilitation, presentation, planning, organizing, interpersonal skills, communication, results orientation, resilience.

Education: Matric/Grade 12, Facilitation/Train the Trainer certificate, ODETDP (advantageous), Assessor/Moderator (advantageous).

Experience: 2-3 years in learning and development facilitation, management development facilitation, retail or warehouse training experience (Pick/Pack/Dispatch).
