Job description

National organisation requires an experienced Training Co-ordinator. You will be responsible for coordinating training courses and dates, handling administration duties, and booking facilitators. This position is based in Bedfordview.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Matric
  • HSE qualification is an advantage
  • 4+ years' experience as a Trainer, Training Facilitator, Training Co-ordinator, or similar role in training
  • Significant experience in coordinating multiple training classes or events
  • Own transport is essential for occasional travel to QCTO or SETA
  • Experience with learning management systems and web delivery tools
  • Knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral and written)
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate training events and special projects to ensure smooth operation
  • Arrange training classes and develop new training programs
  • Review and update existing training courses, including developing educational aids and materials
  • Manage company’s accreditations with QCTO and relevant SETA’s
  • Implement and explore new training methods and techniques
  • Assess instructional effectiveness and prepare impact reports
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and liaise with subject matter experts
  • Manage curriculum database and training records
  • Organize train-the-trainer sessions
  • Sourcing registered facilitators for training sessions
  • Oversee in-house training facilities and equipment
  • Assist in developing marketing materials for promotional purposes
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform additional duties as required by the employer
