Responsibilities
Our client in the mining industry is looking for a dynamic Training Administrator to streamline programs, track participation, and ensure compliance and growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies and processes, address queries, and implement improvements.
- Update and manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training catalogues.
- Ensure statutory training compliance and support onboarding and orientation programs.
- Enhance training engagement with creative, interactive methods and tech-driven solutions.
- Handle training administration, logistics, and inquiries.
- Contribute to vendor agreements and contract management, ensuring alignment with training needs.
- Report on training objectives, data, and expenditure.
- Support employees in pursuing professional qualifications and offer ongoing guidance.
- Comply with SHE practices and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Participate in team support and self-development activities.
- Live company values and engage in company events.
Requirements
- 2-4 years' experience in professional training.
- Driver's License.
- L&D Qualification (OTDP Diploma/Degree).
- Knowledge of the Skills Development Act and WSP/ATR completion.
- Experience as an L&D Administrator with a proven track record.
- Learner Management System experience.
- Experience with Learnerships, Bursaries, and Study Aid administration.
- Full L&D coordination cycle experience, including reporting and tracking attendance.
- Strong attention to detail.
