Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years Culinary Arts experience as a chef.
  • Vocational, POE, and practical assessment experience.
  • Lecturing / teaching / assessor experience is beneficial.

Are you passionate about the culinary industry and eager to inspire the next generation of chefs? We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Traineeship Assessor to join our team on an Independent Contractor basis, twice a week.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to teach, guide, and assess young, enthusiastic students as they begin their journey in the culinary world. You’ll be more than an assessor — you'll be a mentor who helps shape future professionals by offering valuable feedback, support, and encouragement.

Requirements
  • CA/Hospitality qualification on an NQF 6 level (beneficial)
  • Certified as an Assessor
  • Driver's license and own transport (essential)

  • Minimum 2 years Culinary Arts experience as a chef
  • Lecturing / teaching / assessor experience (beneficial)
