SKG Properties is seeking a capable worker for a glass production environment in South Africa. The role involves following safety procedures, assisting with glass cutting, loading, and stock control while maintaining a clean and efficient work area.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate basic site safety knowledge, strong time-management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Physical strength and good communication are essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and wear protective clothing.
• Supply and hold Materials and Tools.
• Ensure Factory Area is Swept and Clean every Evening.
• Clean Work Area and Equipment.
• Assisting the Glass Cutter at his Table.
• Packing the Cut Glass, neatly, into Racks.
• Assisting with the Loading of Trucks, when required.
• Manufacturing with Glass Sets, as and when required.
• Learn to work overhead gantry.
• Process off cuts.
• Ensure machinery is kept in good working order.
• Keep stock of all glass utilised in Production and oversee Stock.
• Participate in Stock Takes.
• Any other reasonable instructions within the scope of work.
