Position Overview

Starting from August 2025 or upon agreement, we are seeking a Trainee (S&M) Reservations and Groups & Events for a permanent 12-month contract.

About Gstaad Palace

Gstaad Palace, with 90 rooms and suites, 5 restaurants, 2 bars, and a legendary nightclub, is an internationally renowned 5-star luxury hotel. Owned by the Scherz family, it remains one of the last family-run grand hotels and a Swiss landmark.

Responsibilities

In this diverse role, you will support our team in individual reservations, group bookings, and event coordination. You will gain comprehensive insights into the operational and administrative daily routines of a luxury hotel's reservations and events department, learning about the processes involved in managing exclusive stays and events. Candidate Profile
  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or training, preferably in the hospitality industry, and are currently pursuing further education at a Swiss hotel management school.
  • You have practical experience in operational or administrative hotel functions.
  • Your personality is characterized by openness, teamwork, creativity, flexibility, enthusiasm, and resilience.
  • You possess excellent German skills and very good French and English language abilities.
