Trainee Manager – New Product Development

• Technical development for all sample requests received for marketing team and customers
• New RM development and supplier development
• Evaluate alternate materials, possibilities, processes, and equipment
• Identify new opportunities for the next business pipeline – Concepts
• Discuss successful projects with the Marketing team as I2M’s (Information to Market) format
• Determine and implement improved technologies used by suppliers, competitors, and customers
• Transfer new technologies, products, and manufacturing processes into and out of the company within Group companies
• Document all phases of Sample development for project commercialization
• Manage customer relationships, handle product requests, reviews, customer visits, and product testing
• Attend industry conferences on research topics of interest
• Coordinate with the global technology team on new projects and best practices in R&D
• Participate in the selection of new technology, machinery, and business concepts
• Lead key projects with Marketing and Operations teams to support business goals

Educational Qualification

Any one of the following with a full-time course from a recognized university:

• Master of Science
• Postgraduate in Polymer Science
• Chemical Engineer or Diploma
• Packaging Engineer or Diploma in Packaging & Printing

Additional Expected Skills (Not compulsory)

• Fluent verbal and written communication in English
