Sagen Advisory in Stellenbosch invites graduates to apply for CIMA/SAIPA training contracts for the 2027 intake. You will receive strong training and exposure across accounting, assurance and consulting services.

The ideal candidate is a graduate or postgraduate in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, or a similar degree, who works well in a team, takes initiative, and can also work independently. A driver’s license and own transport are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Produce client reports and perform accounting work.
• Handle full bookkeeping up to trial balance and VAT/PAYE reviews.
• Invoicing, debtors collection, and SARS-related tasks.
• Maintain registrations for Income Tax, PAYE, VAT and related licenses.
• Liaise with clients and provide supporting administration.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate/postgraduate who have completed a Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, or similar degree at an accredited institution.The firm is looking for a self-confident individual who likes to work as part of a team, but is also willing to take initiative and capable of working independently.

This firm of Chartered Accountants (SA) and Registered Auditors offer a variety of services with the aim of continuously looking for cost-effective, value-added solutions to their clients’ business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce client reports.
• Perform accounting work.
• Administrative duties.
• Full bookkeeping and accounting function up to trial balance, including debtors, creditors, bank, petty cash, journals, etc.
• Handling of VAT and PAYE reviews.
• Invoicing and debtors’ collection.
• IRP5 calculations, reconciliations and submissions.
• Liaison with clients.
• Maintenance of SARS accounts.
• PAYE/UIF/SDL calculations and EMP201 submissions.
• Registration and deregistration for Income Tax, PAYE, VAT and Import and Export licenses.
• Tax clearance applications.
• UIF registration and administration.
• VAT calculations and VAT201 submissions.
• WCA registrations, submission of returns and arranging letters of good standing.

Qualifications and experience:

• BCom Accounting, BCom Financial Accounting, BCom Management Accounting, or equivalent.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Driver’s license and own transport.
