Trainee Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are eager to pursue a career as a Chartered Accountant (SA) and are committed to gaining valuable experience in a professional setting.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis.
2. Participate in audit engagements and contribute to the audit process.
3. Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
4. Assist with tax compliance and reporting.
5. Engage in professional development activities and training sessions.
6. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve project goals.
7. Adhere to professional and ethical standards at all times.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field (BCom).
2. Currently enrolled in or completed CTA (Certificate in the Theory of Accounting) or equivalent qualification.
3. Strong academic record and commitment to achieving the CA (SA) qualification.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
7. Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
