Job Title:

Forklift Operator with CDL (Commercial Driver's License)

General Summary

This role involves setting up, loading, unloading, and warehousing of products or supplies using a forklift.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift in narrow aisles and safely transport materials to and from various production areas.
• Drive a diesel tractor trailer between the Richmond Plant and external warehouse facilities as needed, including yard movements.
• Operate a pallet jack as required.
• Maintain warehouse and transaction accuracy, including production reporting and inventory management.
• Learn and use SAP for data entry via forklift computer terminals, handheld devices, and desktop computers.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Assist with collecting quality control samples and perform other clerical duties as assigned.
• Conduct safety inspections of forklifts before use and complete safety forms each shift.
• Handle ingredients weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety and operation procedures for lift trucks.
• Work at alternate locations or on weekends as needed.
• Maintain a clean work environment and perform janitorial duties if required.
• Comply with safety, quality, and manufacturing practices guidelines.

This position is on the Night Owl Shift.

Minimum Education Required:

High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in manufacturing.

Preferred Experience:

Forklift operation experience is preferred.
