Qualifikationen

• Bachelor-level degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA as PR Eng or PR Technologist.
• South African residency or valid work permit.

Job Description

• Develop and review traffic impact assessments and traffic management plans

• Prepare technical reports, specifications, drawings, and tender documentation
• Provide technical input across multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
• Liaise with clients, authorities, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
• Manage project deliverables, timelines, and technical quality
• Support junior engineers and contribute to the development of the traffic engineering team

Skills & Experience

• Lead traffic engineering projects from planning and analysis through to implementation
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, legislation, and industry best practice
• Review and approve technical deliverables and engineering designs
• Identify traffic-related challenges and develop practical, cost-effective solutions
• Attend project and client meetings and provide expert technical advice
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders
• Monitor project progress, risks, budgets, and deliverables
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members
• Minimum 8–10 years’ relevant experience in traffic and transportation engineering

Qualification
