Job description

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Manager Maintenance Engineering, and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Complete defined audits, monitor processes and adherence to standards.
• Safely execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Assist Electrician with infrastructure maintenance and routine inspections as and when required.
• Manage tools and keep register of tools issued to Electrician.
• Provide input into maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution of the assets.
• Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOPs, operational standards, policies, and practices.
• Liaise and engage with internal stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Provide input into all relevant reports.
• Identify and report possible efficiency enhancements and initiatives to ensure resource savings.
• Engage with relevant Stakeholders on report findings.

Technical Skills And Experience

• Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
• A minimum 1-year relevant experience within electrical maintenance is recommended.
