Job summary

Standard Bank in Johannesburg seeks a Middle Office/Trade Support specialist for the Africa Trading Desk with expanded duties in Money Markets and IRD. You will support the end-to-end trade lifecycle, improve processes, and ensure accurate trade capture and settlement.

• 3–5 years advanced experience in the Trade Lifecycle of Global Markets environment.
• Experience covering multiple products including IR swaps, total return swaps, structured notes, bonds, options and loans.

Responsibilities

• Manage and facilitate the operational trade lifecycle, including allocating, validating and enriching trades.
• Identify and resolve exceptions and queries and implement continuous improvement measures to support on Global Markets desks.

About the Role

Middle Office/Trade support for the Africa Trading Desk, with expanded responsibility for Money Markets and Interest Rate Derivative (IRD). Supporting Global Markets Clients and our Sales and Trading business, in managing and facilitating the operational trade lifecycle (including allocating, validating and enriching trades, identifying and resolving exceptions and queries and implementing continuous improvement measures) to support trades originating on Global Markets Desks ensuring that trades can be effectively settled, comply with regulatory standards, mitigate operational risk and create a positive client experience....
