- This position works out of our Johannesburg location in the Nutrition Division. In this division our nutrition business developsscience-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Millions of people around the world count on our leading brands – including Similac, PediaSure, Pedialyte, Ensure, Glucerna and ZonePerfect – to help get the nutrients they need to live their healthiest life.
What You’ll Do
- Deliverflawless executionof sales strategies to smash targets.
- Own your region’sgrowth, market share, and performance.
- Master the art ofSFE KPIs– from call rates to coverage.
- Bring promotions to life withprecision and budget discipline.
- Be the eyes and ears on the ground –spot underperformanceand act fast.
- Keep tabs on pricing and competition withmonthly surveys.
- Ensureperfect product placementandPOS execution.
- Buildpowerful in-store relationshipsandnegotiate prime display space.
- Leadmerchandising excellenceandtrain pharmacy staff.
- Collaborate with reps and managers to ensurestock availabilityandSKU performance.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BSc Degree
- MBA/Postgrad desirable with preferred focus on strategy,marketing, andfinance
- Seasoned experience in sales and/ormarketing.
- Strongproject experiencein commercial area
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of pharmacy sales experience is mandatory.
- Close working relationship with head buyers, regional buyers, store managers, regional managers and merchandising partners
- Experience and established pharmacy relationships essential.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Strong sales track record, sound organizational skills and time management skill
- History of superior territory coverage in the Johannesburg area will be an advantage.
- Positive with a can-do attitude.
- Integrity, initiative, and adaptability.
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
- Skilled negotiator, problem solver, and closer.
- Ability to develop long-term business relationships.
- Good communicator and self-motivated
- Business planning acumen and ability.
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
