Job description

Trade Finance Sales Executive – Sandton, Johannesburg.

Our financial services client is looking for a New Business Sales Executive “Hunter” with solid Trade Finance or Asset Finance experience.

Your role as a New Business Executive will be tobuild a continuous new business sales pipeline across all group companies and products by onboarding new clients through lead generation, cross-selling the groups products on a standalone and / or combined basis, attending meetings with new prospect clients and closing of sales.

Salary: R1.2 million plus commission.

Position: Permanent – Hybrid role (4 days office and 1 day home).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric, relevant qualification
  • 5+ New Business Executive – “Hunter” in TRADE FINANCE
  • Solid Trade Finance or Asset Finance experience
  • Drivers license and own vehicle.
  • Good general business knowledge and savvy
  • Detailed product knowledge
  • Detailed credit risk, legal risk and operational risk understanding
  • Knowledge of unsecured and secured lending products and the industry (including competing products, discount and pricing structures)
  • Experienced understanding of business financial statements
  • Basic computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite
