Job Responsibilities
- Update all systems used in the tool store.
- Resolve queries related to tools.
- Ensure all items and shelves are clearly marked.
- Assist technicians with over-the-counter tool requests.
- Assist with outstation tool requests and planning for replacements.
- Ensure returned tools are correctly placed and recorded.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock checks.
- Follow up on items out for calibration or repair and assist with planning to ensure tool availability.
- Ensure timely recalibration of tools to maintain availability.
- Maintain stock levels of consumables in the tool store.
- Perform regular inspections on GSE and other tools/items.
- Report unserviceable GSE/items to maintenance for rectification.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tool store.
- Control access to the tool store.
- Provide reports as required by Work Instructions.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential).
- 1-2 years' experience in warehousing (Essential).
- Experience with dangerous goods and aircraft spares packing (Advantageous).
- Physically fit (Essential).
- Willing to work overtime and 24-hour shifts as required.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Advantageous).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
