Job description

A manufacturing company in Blackheath, known for innovation, precision engineering, and world-class quality, is looking for a Red Seal Qualified Toolmaker / Jig and Dye Maker to join their team.

Requirements:

1. Matric / Grade 12 (or equivalent)
2. Qualified Toolmaker / Jig and Dye Maker with Red Seal OR 5 years' experience in press tool and dye making in a manufacturing environment (non-negotiable)
3. Ability to read and design from technical drawings
4. Working knowledge of milling machines, lathes, hand tools, etc.
5. Knowledge of ISO and H & S procedures & requirements
6. Detail-oriented
7. Ability to work overtime when required
8. Medically fit

Duties:

1. Manufacture and maintain production tooling
2. Conduct regular quality checks
3. Attend and participate in morning meetings
4. General housekeeping

Remuneration:

Basic + pension + medical aid
