MAHLE is recruiting a Toolsetter for our Durban, ZA site. Reporting to the Production Foreman, you will plan daily tool changes, maintain tooling records, and support production with data updates and audits.

You will ensure outputs meet sales needs within capacity, manufacture to spec, and maximize material use while minimizing scrap. You will uphold Health, Safety and Environment requirements, ensure equipment availability for current and future plans, and actively participate in CIP and 5S

Qualifications

• Trade Tested certification is required.
• Experience as a Fitter and Turner / Millwright / Toolmaker is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a production environment.

Responsabilités

• Plan and conduct daily tool changes and tooling maintenance with records.
• Provide production support including data updates and audits.
• Ensure output meets sales requirements within plant capacity.
• Manufacture to customer specifications and company standards.
• Utilise materials cost-effectively with minimal scrap.
• Maintain Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
• Ensure plant and equipment meet current and future plans.
• Contribute to World Class Manufacturing initiatives.
• Participate in CIP (Continuous Improvement Processes) and A3 problem solving.
• Drive the 5S process.
