Job summary

Together Staffing group in Gauteng seeks an experienced Tool Room Manager to oversee all tooling activities in a fast-paced plastics operation. You will own the toolroom function, maintaining moulds, dies, jigs, and fixtures to ensure continuous production and high-quality output.

The role requires a Matric and Trade Test Tool, Jig and Die Maker, with at least 10 years in tooling environments and 5 years in tool room management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a Tool Room manufacturing environment.
• Within a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Tool Room Management Role.
• Matric and Trade Test Tool, Jig and Die Maker.
• Understanding of Thermoforming Materials.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all tooling activities to maximize production performance and minimize downtime.
• Maintain, repair, and ensure availability of moulds, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Support injection moulding operations with production-ready tooling.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the toolroom function, managing the maintenance, repair, and availability of moulds, dies, jigs, and fixtures used across production. You will play a key role in supporting injection moulding operations by ensuring tooling is production-ready, reliable, and aligned with operational demands.
