Eastern Personnel Consultants / Oostelike Personeel Konsultante is seeking a Code A motorbike delivery driver in Cape Town. You will transport automotive parts, plan routes for efficiency, and verify deliveries with customers, while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The role is permanent after a 3-month probation, with a Mon–Fri schedule and overtime as per regulations. A valid SA CODE A licence and reliable references are essential.

Qualificações

• Valid, unendorsed South African CODE A driver’s licence required.
• Previous commercial motorbike delivery or courier experience preferred.
• Matric certificate advantageous; basic computer literacy.
• Ability to navigate routes efficiently using maps or GPS.
• High reliability, punctuality and strong road safety awareness with references.

Responsabilidades

• Safely transport and deliver automotive parts and components to workshops and clients.
• Plan delivery routes for timely distribution with fuel efficiency.
• Verify items against invoices and obtain customer signoffs.
• Conduct daily pre-trip inspections of the motorbike and keep it clean.
• Assist the warehouse with loading, securing cargo and sorting delivery batches when not on the road.

Are you a reliable and experienced rider with an excellent eye for detail? A well-established automotive logistics operation is looking for a dependable Code A Motorbike Delivery Driver to join their dynamic team for a full-time position.

What’s on Offer?

• Salary: R7,845.00 Gross PM

• Status: Permanent following a successful 3-month probation period

• Benefits (Post-Probation): MICFA Provident Fund (7.5% employee / 8% employer contribution) + Prorated December Annual Bonus

• Leave: 18 days paid annual leave per annum

• Hours: Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00 | Sat 08:00–13:00 (Overtime paid per MIBCO regulations)

Key Responsibilities

• Order Dispatch & Delivery: Safely transport and deliver automotive parts and components to workshops and clients within designated areas.

• Route Planning & Efficiency: Plan delivery routes effectively to ensure timely distribution while maintaining fuel efficiency and road safety.

• Verification & Documentation: Double-check delivery items against invoices/delivery notes before departure and obtain proper customer signoffs.

• Vehicle Maintenance & Care: Conduct daily pre-trip inspections of the company motorbike (oil, tyres, brakes) and keep the vehicle clean.

• Logistics Support: Assist the warehouse team with loading, securing cargo, and sorting delivery batches when not out on the road.

Are You the Perfect Fit?

Minimum Requirements & Legal Qualifications:

• Licencing: Valid, unendorsed South African CODE A DRIVER'S LICENCE IS STRICTLY REQUIRED.

• Essential Experience: Previous commercial motorbike delivery or courier experience in any industry is strictly required (automotive or logistics sector experience is a distinct advantage).

• Skills & Education: Matric certificate (highly advantageous), basic computer literacy, and the ability to navigate routes efficiently using maps or GPS.

• Track Record: High reliability, punctuality, strong road safety awareness, and a stable history with contactable references.

Strict Legal Requirements & Assessments (Non-Negotiable):

Background screening will be conducted. Candidates must have:

• South African-born Citizenship (with valid SA ID).

• Clear criminal record (under no circumstances will candidates with a record be considered).

• Ability to undergo a psychometric/personality assessment during the interview stage.
