Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to lead the Toddler Program in Centurion. The role focuses on children aged 18 months to 3 years, designing a play-based curriculum that fosters cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

You will work in a child-centered, supportive team environment, delivering engaging activities, observing progress, and communicating with families. This full-time position offers professional development and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

Qualified in Early Childhood Education (NQF 4/5).
Minimum 2 years' experience teaching toddlers or in a similar early years setting.
Valid clearances and First Aid certification are essential.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities for toddlers.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Observe and document children's progress and report to parents.
Manage classroom routines, including feeding, napping, and toileting.
Foster positive peer interactions and support emotional well-being.
Collaborate with co-teachers and school leadership to enhance the program.
