About the Role

Our client seeks a compassionate Toddler Caregiver to join their early learning centre in Centurion . This role is pivotal in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for toddlers during their crucial developmental stages. You will be responsible for implementing daily care routines, engaging children in age-appropriate activities, and fostering their social and emotional growth. We are looking for a dedicated individual who can build positive relationships with both the children and their families, contributing to a warm and supportive atmosphere in the Gauteng region.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Implement daily routines, including feeding, napping, hygiene, and diaper changes.
• Engage toddlers in age-appropriate play, songs, stories, and sensory activities to promote development.
• Observe and document children's developmental milestones and any concerns.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day and development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in childcare, specifically with toddlers.
• A genuine love for children and a patient, nurturing disposition.
• Understanding of basic child development principles for the toddler age group.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
