- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow the company's retail footprint in Africa.
- This role requires a strategic salesperson with a demonstrated ability to close high-value deals and expand retail distribution.
- Leverage existing relationships with retail buyers to drive direct sales into major supermarket and chains.
- Negotiate and secure high-value deals with national retailers within the first 6 months.
- Work closely with distributors and partners to optimize supply chain and sales operations.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term partnerships with key retail players.
- Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and sales forecasts to leadership.
- Travel across Africa to establish and strengthen relationships with retailers and distributors.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience with proven success in securing retail partnerships.
- Must have sold directly to retailers in Africa within the past year (Experience older than one year will not be considered).
- Strong existing contacts with buyers at major retailers across Africa.
- Experience in mass-market distribution, particularly within large chains and supermarkets.
- Ability to negotiate and close large deals with major retailers.
- Willingness to travel across Africa and South Africa.
- Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
