Job Summary

• Provide service desk support to end users.

Key Performance Areas

• IT support for end users
• Maintenance of IT network

Key Tasks
IT Support:

• Resolve helpdesk tickets within SLA
• Provide telephonic and remote support
• Perform ad hoc tasks

Network Maintenance:

• Set up hardware
• Install and maintain cabling
• Establish new networks

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday (08:00–17:00)
• Shift work (07:00–14:00)
• Standby shifts

Essential Qualifications

• Matric Certificate
• A+ Certificate
• N+ Certificate

Essential Experience

• 1 year in IT Support
• 1 year in hardware maintenance
• 1 year with operating/application systems
• 1 year in software management
• General experience with Linux and Windows

Desirable Experience

• Practical use of IT maintenance equipment

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of electronic equipment
