Our travel advisors provide world-class service by effectively managing and coordinating the selling and booking of holiday packages to an expanding and dedicated clientele, aiming to achieve personal and company sales targets in line with the company strategy.

Responsibilities

1. Offer professional travel advice and provide accurate and creative quotations to customers by discussing their requirements. The goal is to enhance customer satisfaction and grow a dedicated clientele.
2. Successfully achieve personal sales targets by actively closing sales and converting quotations into bookings.
3. Manage booking administration processes effectively, including planning and preparing cost itineraries, making flight, accommodation, and related bookings, and handling amendments and cancellations while adhering to payment processes.
4. Maintain high levels of quality and productivity by managing workload and meeting deadlines.
5. Follow processes to reduce errors and losses, taking pride in work quality.
6. Offer world-class service, develop a positive culture, strive to exceed expectations, and deliver a "wow" service to customers.

Requirements

• Travel and Tourism Certificate
• Proficiency in GDS, with Amadeus preferred
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
• At least 1 year of travel industry experience in retail or tour operations, with a proven record of reaching sales targets
• Practical experience in compiling travel packages and creating costings
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Good geographical knowledge
• Thorough understanding of the reservations process from input to output
• Experience reading and interpreting contracts
• Target-oriented with a keen attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
