The ideal candidate holds an LLB, is admitted as an SA attorney, and can work independently with strong organisational and communication skills while relocating to Port Elizabeth if needed.

Qualifications

• LLB degree and admission as an attorney in the High Court of SA.
• Third-party claims/matters experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legal procedures and legislation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and case-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Port Elizabeth.

Responsibilities

• Handle and manage third-party matters and claims.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients regarding third-party matters.
• Manage matters from initial instruction through resolution.
• Draft and review relevant legal documentation.
• Liaise with clients, third parties, insurers and other stakeholders.
• Conduct legal research and prepare matters as required.
• Ensure accurate and timely management of case files and documentation.
