Every young person deserves safety stability and someone who believes in them. As a Therapeutic Youth Worker youll step into a role that is more than just a job its a chance to change lives.

In this role you wont just be supporting young people youll be empowering them to overcome challenges build resilience and create a brighter future. Every shift brings new experiences and every moment could be the one that makes all the difference.

What Youll Be Doing :

  • Supporting young people in residential settings ensuring their safety and wellbeing
  • Building strong positive connections to help them develop life skills and independence
  • Creating a structured therapeutic environment that fosters growth and healing
  • Responding to challenges with patience empathy and professionalism
  • Working closely with a team of professionals to implement individualised care plans
  • You will be expected to travel up to a 1hour radius from our head office in Islington

What Were Looking For :

  • A passion for working with young people and a genuine desire to make a difference
  • The ability to stay calm compassionate and solutionfocused in tough situations
  • Minimum qualification : Diploma in Child Youth & Family Intervention (or currently studying) or related course
  • Availability for a variety of shifts including weekends and overnights
  • A full valid Australian Drivers Licence First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check

Induction & Training

Before starting in this role successful candidates must attend a comprehensive 5day paid induction program. This training is essential to ensure you are fully prepared and confident in your role.

Induction dates will be from Monday 28th April to Friday 2nd May at our Islington head office. Further details will be provided during the recruitment process.
