Job description

Registered as a professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council or an equivalent NQF level 7 nursing qualification.

Possessing a post-basic nursing qualification in Operating Room Nursing, complemented by contemporary skills and knowledge in that specialty. Relevant work experience is essential.

Experience in Cath Lab, Theatre Cardiac, or ICU settings would be advantageous. Knowledge includes:

• Thorough understanding of theatre nursing theory and practice.
• Extensive knowledge of modern nursing care principles and practices in the theatre.
