Job summary

Joint Medical Holdings is seeking an organised stock control professional to support theatre operations in Durban. You will pack out stock for theatre cases, source new products on surgeon request, and manage theatre stockroom inventory, including month-end counts.

You will collaborate with case management to ensure medical aid approvals, oversee consignment stock at theatre level, and handle billing accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate in Word and Excel.
• Basic/Post Basic Pharmacy Assistant qualification or related.
• Knowledge of stock control and counting.
• 3-5 years hospital/pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and during shifts, weekends, overtime and public holidays.

Job description

Enforce the policy in respect to company Representative access to theatre.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

(Educational Qualifications & Experience)

• Must be computer Literate Microsoft Word and Excel
• A basic/Post Basic level Pharmacy Assistant qualification or related qualification would be an advantage.
• Must have knowledge of stock control to include count, capture, investigations (Surgical Stock an advantage)
• 3-5 Years Hospital / Pharmacy experience an advantage.
• Must have excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must be prepared to work Shifts, Weekends, Overtime and Public Holidays
