Qualifications

• Enrolled Nurse qualification and SANC registration.
• Experience in a theatre/operating room environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the theatre per scope of practice.
• Assist in preparing patients for surgery (pre-op).
• Monitor vital signs during procedures under supervision.
• Support post-operative recovery in theatre/recovery room.
• Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and instruments.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are available and functioning.
• Document theatre activities accurately.
• Participate in handovers and team communication.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
