What you will be doing

• Oversee test engineers ensure alignment with Agile principles and optimize sprint efficiency.
• Create and maintain an Agile test strategy covering automation manual performance and security testing.
• For each sprint define clear test objectives scope resource allocation and schedules.
• Proactively identify and mitigate quality and testing risks at both project and sprint levels.
• Ensure seamless communication across development business analysts and testing.
• Collaborate with DevOps and developers to embed testing into CI / CD pipelines.
• Verify comprehensive test case coverage for all requirements (functional non-functional edge cases) and act as a liaison for bug resolution.
• Track testing progress within sprints execute test cases manage defects and provide metrics and status reports.
• Advocate for and implement test automation promote practices like BDD / TDD and ensure the team uses optimal and current test tools.
• Provide feedback on code quality ensure the team adapts quickly to changing Agile requirements and continuously improve testing effectiveness through metrics.

• A strong understanding of the Life Insurance sector.
• Proficient in regression performance and security testing (including Postman for authentication Pilotfish and Hyphen) with the ability to create comprehensive test plans test cases and regression scripts.
• Strong in Postman for API testing JIRA for bug and project tracking and capable of writing SQL queries with foundational code-based testing skills.
• Experienced with test management tools familiar with Scribe and Gherkin syntax and committed to continuous learning and adopting new testing techniques.
• Able to lead mentor and support test analysts ensuring effective workload management and deadline adherence.
