Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• 2+ years in a Test Lead or senior QA role.
• Strong experience in test planning and test strategy development.
• Experience leading QA/Test teams.
• Experience managing defects and testing risks.
• Experience working within Agile and/or Scrum environments.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate testing activities across projects.
• Develop and maintain test strategies and test plans.
• Plan, estimate and manage testing activities and resources.
• Lead functional, integration, regression and system testing.
• Review and approve test cases and testing documentation.
• Manage defect identification, prioritisation and resolution.
• Monitor testing progress, risks and quality metrics.
• Coordinate with Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers and stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to QA Testers.
• Support and drive test automation initiatives.
• Provide testing status reports and communicate quality risks to stakeholders.

Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:

Education

• Diploma, BSc, BCom or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Testing or a related field will be advantageous.
• Relevant software testing certifications such as ISTQB will be advantageous.

Experience

• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a Test Lead or senior QA role.
