The Director, La Mer International is responsible for driving strategy, alignment, and go-to-market initiatives across regions, markets, and channels. This role collaborates seamlessly with regional teams, global marketing, CE, online, and creative departments.
Responsibilities
- China Market Lead: Key leader for the successful integration of the Gravity project and supporting the development of China and CTC for the La Mer brand. Drive speed to market in China and APAC, maximizing the China ecosystem across online and offline channels. Lead development of programs to capitalize on key moments and festivals in China, including creating marketing briefs.
- Market Development: Develop business plans and financial models aligned with strategy. Oversee activities to launch new markets and grow channels. Lead cross-functional task force meetings.
- New Channels: Evaluate new opportunities and support existing spa development. Collaborate with global online/digital teams to support online growth and omni-channel initiatives. Maintain the New Market Launch Toolkit and Brand Presentation.
- Business Analysis: Conduct financial modeling and analysis to support brand strategy, budgeting, and market development projects. Develop presentations for various strategic meetings.
- International Strategy Development: Work with SVP/GM International to develop the brand's international strategy.
- Operational Support: Represent International in global marketing meetings, manage inventory, approve forecasts, and develop process improvements involving regions.
- Collaboration & Service: Interact with cross-functional teams, support SVP in representing international markets, and build collaborative relationships. React promptly to regional requests and raise issues as needed.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of related experience, especially in dealing with global markets with emphasis on APAC
- Experience managing complex relationships in a matrixed organization
- Proven leadership in a global environment
- P&L management experience
- International travel required
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- Mandarin language skills are highly desirable
