Job summary

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is seeking an entry–level Test Engineer for our Midrand, South Africa office. You will develop and execute tests for software and hardware in the gambling industry, document results, and collaborate with clients and teammates to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or equivalent technical background, fluency in English, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years equivalent experience in engineering, science, math or other technical areas strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Python, C++, C# or PHP is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with internal & external parties.

Responsibilities

• Test software and hardware designs impacting gambling products and services.
• Develop and execute test methods for client requirements and regulations.
• Document test results and defects; track issues to resolution.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams on testing plans and schedules.
• Support project delivery within budgets and timelines.
