Job description

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for testing Transaction Junction's payment applications and supporting software to ensure products meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

Utilizes manual and automated testing methods, including analysis, documentation, and reporting of issues found during testing to deliver quality products to internal and external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Test Planning

• Analyze system requirements to establish and prioritize test conditions, select suitable test cases and techniques.
• Identify test objectives, plan and document test strategies, and determine necessary resources.
• Review product specifications and interact with developers to plan and develop test cases.

Test Design and Execution

• Design, build, and execute manual and automated test scripts to verify functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop load test scripts to ensure response times within agreed parameters.

Risk Management and Documentation

• Identify, communicate, and respond to product and testing risks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, adhering to standards and policies.

Environment and Issue Management

• Build and maintain representative test environments.
• Reproduce issues, verify fixes, and ensure no regressions occur.

Reporting and Process Improvement

• Report test results, conduct defect trend analysis, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing strategies and processes.

Team and Stakeholder Collaboration

• Support handover to operations, attend design reviews, and collaborate with development teams.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Certified Test Analyst.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior testing role.
