We are seeking a highly skilled Test Analyst (Mobile and Web) to join our team in Cape Town (hybrid).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automation testing across mobile and web platforms, and will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital products.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing of mobile and web applications.

• Design and execute test cases for both manual and automated testing.

• Collaborate with developers, product owners and business analysts to ensure test coverage and quality.

• Maintain and improve automated test suites using tools such as Selenium and Appium.

• Log, track, and manage defects using Jira and Xray.

• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman.

• Support continuous integration and testing pipelines via Bamboo.

• Contribute to test documentation, plans and reports.

• Ensure adherence to QA best practices and standards.

• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT qualification.
• ISTQB Certification (Foundation level or higher).

Essential skills

• 4+ years of hands-on testing experience in mobile and web environments.
• Strong experience with both manual and automation testing.
• Proficiency with tools such as:
  • Selenium (automation testing)
  • Appium (mobile automation)
  • Jira and Xray (test and issue management)

• Strong understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies.
