Test Analyst - 2162

Test Analyst with a Degree and a minimum of 5 years of Software Testing experience, along with ISTQB / ISEB Certification, is required for a reputable global company based in Gauteng.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Perform manual functional testing of frontend and backend systems, including test scripting.
2. Develop scripts for automation, ensuring they are ready for handover to automation teams.
3. Conduct regression, security, reliability, performance, API, maintainability, negative, and portability testing.
4. Perform accessibility testing in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and screen reader compatibility.
5. Carry out static and dynamic analysis.
6. Create and analyze test cases and scripts, including technical test cases.
7. Identify, extract, create, modify, sanitize, and anonymize test data for various test scenarios.
8. Manage defects using JIRA, adhering to defect workflow processes.
9. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned within the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.
10. Possess knowledge of Java and AWS.
11. Understand systems engineering concepts.
12. Apply modeling techniques and methods.
13. Coordinate between development and support environments.
14. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
