Job description

  • Kerridge Commercial Systems is a market leader in the development and provision of trading and financial software environments for specialist Distribution, Wholesale, Merchant and Retail industry sectors, addressing single or multi-branch operations, as well as catering for organisations with 'point-of-sale' showrooms and warehouses.
  • Integrity Retailer is part of the KCS Group and is a software development solution that provides expertise in Payroll / ESS and HR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze system specifications (BRS)
  • Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
  • Execute test cases and analyze results
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in a customer-focused role in a Payroll oriented environment
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
  • Experience in QA methodology
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Working knowledge of test management software and SQL
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of the Integrity Payroll / ESS Application software or similar
  • Experience in a software support environment or similar
  • Experience in the following: JIRA, Confluence, Cherwell, SQL Syntax

Remuneration:

  • The salary and package are commensurate with the role and experience
