Job title: Tertiary Education Consultants

Reporting to: Campus Business Development Manager, National School Marketing Manager & National Business Development Manager.

Salary: Basic salary, Petrol card for business-related travel, Cell phone, Laptop, Commission & Incentives

Hours: 45 hours, Full Time, Normal Hours 08:00 am to 04:30 pm, Min two Saturdays per month

Additional hours: 09:00 am to 01:00 pm or as required for school or campus events

Purpose of the position

The Tertiary Education Consultants promote the CTU Brand, build relationships with TOP FEEDER schools as specified and confirmed by Head Office, and generate a marketing database by presenting to Grade 8 to 12 learners at various schools and events. They create promotional events on campus to generate sales and establish a strong presence in schools and surrounding regions. They market school solutions to build strong relations with schools.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Build relationships with key school personnel, teachers, principals, parents, and prospective students.
  • Schedule and deliver presentations to Grade 11 & 12 learners.
  • Create opportunities to contact learners from Grade 8 to 10.
  • Build relationships with funding and student loan organizations.
  • Address customer concerns professionally and promptly.

Database / Lead Generation

  • Book school appointments with TOP FEEDER schools and present to Grade 11 & 12 learners, extending to earlier grades if needed.
  • Generate and manage data collection against targets.
  • Achieve at least 60-80% lead generation in the allocated region.
  • Ensure quick distribution of information cards after presentations for prompt follow-up.
  • Create events to ensure high lead conversion.
  • Develop customer service programs to ensure retention and minimize cancellations.
  • Collaborate with campus teams, student advisors, and facilitators to maximize event attendance and enrollments.

Overall Marketing & Enrolment Generation

  • Drive brand loyalty.
  • Implement marketing plans.
  • Book appointments with schools, teachers, prospects, and parents.
  • Coordinate with student advisors for consultations and events.
  • Participate in recruiting students for the next academic year.
  • Utilize the career database for mining and contacting potential students.
  • Schedule appointments and consultations according to set targets.
