Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Key Responsibilities:
Drive Operational Excellence
  • Manage the commercial and compliance aspects of contracts with dealers.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of operational, HSSE, and customer service standards using the Site Standards Checklist.
  • Plan and conduct site visits according to the defined site visits matrix.
  • Implement marketing, non-fuel retailing, and network development initiatives at site level.
  • Collaborate with Dealers and internal stakeholders to resolve customer complaints.
  • Train Dealers on operational and customer service standards as per PUMA Energy requirements.
  • Share best practices among Dealers to ensure consistency and optimize value for PUMA Energy and Dealers.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Business Support, IT, and other functions to ensure site equipment and systems are fully functional.
Support Network Growth and Site Retention
  • Identify and recommend prospects for new sites and conversions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Construction teams for development and conversion projects.
  • Identify opportunities for offer enhancement through Non-Fuel Retailing propositions.
  • Promote PUMA Energy to attract potential site developers.
Monitor KPIs and Analyze Trends
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with Dealers and support recovery plans.
  • Benchmark sites to identify performance improvements.
  • Monitor sales and other KPIs, analyze trends, and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Analyze business segments for margin optimization and eliminate poor-performing products/services.
  • Track Dealer utilization of digital customer interface systems.
Optimize Site Profitability
  • Review site profitability and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze Dealer P&L statements and support performance enhancement plans.
  • Set sales targets with Dealers and review performance regularly.
  • Manage financial risks by monitoring Dealer financial health and credit behavior.
  • Implement recovery plans for underperforming sites.
  • Ensure zero stock-outs through logistical and financial planning.
  • Advise Dealers on financial management best practices.
Manage Operational Risks and Compliance
  • Ensure site compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Develop action plans to address performance and compliance gaps.
  • Negotiate and verify contracts with Dealers.
  • Ensure proper use of Brand assets and intellectual property.
  • Maintain asset registers and perform periodic verifications.
  • Conduct compliance and risk management audits.
Health, Safety, and Environment Management
  • Ensure adherence to HSE standards and develop a strong HSE culture.
  • Perform HSE inspections and ensure closure of compliance gaps.
  • Oversee wetstock management and quality assurance processes.
  • Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Report incidents and ensure proper closure of actions.
Accountabilities
  • Optimize ROCE by delivering the Customer Value Proposition and growing the network and profitability.
  • Support Dealer performance and site image enhancement.
  • Maintain relationships with Dealers and stakeholders to improve operational and financial performance.
  • Ensure Dealers comply with standards and manage Dealer onboarding and performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
  • Postgraduate degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of the fuels market is preferred.
  • Experience in dealer contract negotiations.
  • Background in administrative or management roles.
