About the Team

The Territory Account Manager based in Johannesburg will join a collaborative and supportive team within the Sales division at Nutanix.

This role will focus on the mixed accounts set in the Enterprise and Mid-Market space.

Responsibilities
  • Sell Nutanix Products and Solutions through Channel Partners, leveraging alliances and ISVs, and interacting directly with customers.
  • Work closely with a Pre-Sales Specialist in your territory.
  • Report to the Regional Sales Manager, SADC, who emphasizes attitude and teamwork.
  • Promote an open environment where team members can raise issues and seek support, fostering collaboration and friendship.
  • Operate in a hybrid setup, spending 2-3 days in the office each week to facilitate teamwork and client engagement.
The Role

As a Territory Account Manager, you will:

  • Drive net new business sales in the assigned territory.
  • Demonstrate strong technical expertise to sell Nutanix products and services.
  • Understand how technology solutions address business problems and the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, sales operations, system engineering, and product development teams.
  • Utilize target account and solution selling techniques.
  • Use SFDC and possess strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Articulate the Nutanix value proposition effectively.
What You Will Bring
  • 8+ years of proven IT sales experience within the SADC region.
  • Experience in software sales, quota carrying, hunting, and closing deals.
  • Track record of exceeding sales quotas over multiple years.
  • Deep understanding of the customer and partner ecosystem in the region.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on growth, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • Ability to develop new accounts and penetrate new divisions within existing accounts.
  • Highly organized with knowledge of account planning and strategy.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
