The Officer Estimating position requires a National Diploma (Technical) in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (NQF 6) and around three years of relevant estimating or site-based experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience in estimating or site-based work, preferably in civil or electrical/mechanical construction.
• National Diploma (Technical) in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar, NQF 6 with 240 credits.
• Knowledge of Eskom standards, specifications and legislation is preferred.

• Prepare project cost estimates based on scope, time, cost, resources and risks.
• Attend on-site tender clarification meetings.
• Maintain clear communication and thorough recordkeeping.
