RPO Recruitment is seeking a Civil Engineer with bridge design and site supervision expertise for a site-based role in South Africa. A BSc/BEng/BTech/BEngTech in Civil Engineering and ECSA Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng registration with 5+ years post-registration is required.

Collaborate with contractors and project teams on site, applying temporary works design as needed to deliver safe, compliant structural solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor in civil engineering (BSc/BEng/BTech/BEngTech) required.
• Registered with ECSA as Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng.
• Minimum 5 years post-registration experience.
• Proven bridge design and on-site supervision experience.
• Temporary works design/assessment experience advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices and structural works.
• Good communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with contractors and project teams on site.

Requirements

• BSc/BEng/BTech/BEngTech in Civil Engineering
• Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng.
• Minimum of 5 years’ post-professional registration experience.
• Proven experience in bridge design and construction site supervision.
• Experience in temporary works design, assessment or supervision will be advantageous but is not essential.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering construction practices and structural works.
• Good communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with contractors, engineers and the wider project team in a site-based environment.
