Faircape Restaurant and Catering, part of Faircape Life retirement villages, seeks a Temporary Waiter to join Bridgewater Manor in Somerset West. You will be responsible for serving residents and guests with professionalism and courtesy, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Experience as a waiter is required; barista experience is advantageous, and knowledge of serving etiquette and basic wine knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set tables to standards and ensure cleanliness of linens and dining items.
• Serve food and beverages politely and efficiently.
• Assist with stock audits and report variances or breakages.
• Ensure accurate billing and report errors to the manager.
• Maintain high personal hygiene and grooming standards.
• Be willing to assist with private events outside normal hours.
