A leading company in the automotive sector is seeking an experienced professional to manage and provide accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for production. The role requires analyzing discrepancies, coordinating changes, and supporting supply chain partners, with a contract duration of approximately one year.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in automotive logistics required.
• Familiarity with engineering / BOM systems is critical.
• Understanding of PEP process and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) preferred.

Job description

To manage and provide accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for both series and pre-series production, ensuring seamless introduction of engineering changes and continuous material supply for vehicle and component production.

The role also involves analyzing BOM discrepancies, coordinating change processes, and supporting internal / external supply chain partners.

This role will be a contract of + / - 1 year

Key Responsibilities :

• Evaluate engineering changes and update BOMs accordingly
• Convert Engineering BOMs to Production BOMs
• Plan introduction timing for changes based on supply and production factors
• Manage new component requests (Neuteile process)
• Implement and correct temporary BOM deviations to avoid line stoppages
• Provide accurate BOMs to suppliers throughout production stages
• Investigate BOM-related queries to ensure timely part delivery

Qualifications Required :

• National Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Production Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, or Data Science

Experience :

• Minimum 3 years in automotive logistics
• Familiarity with engineering / BOM systems
• Understanding of PEP process
• Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
• Proficient in MS Office, Power BI, SAP
• Strong communication and analytical skills with innovative problem-solving abilities
