Job description

Brief Role Description
  • Monitor and manage local development of critical parts at suppliers.
  • Ensure supplier readiness for corporate milestones (PEP) and vehicle builds.
  • Oversee on-time submission of sample parts with full legal and technical documentation.
  • Conduct early planning and frequent supplier site visits.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and toolmakers to:
    • Agree on project timelines.
    • Set secondary project milestones.
    • Provide consulting on tooling, facility design, and manufacturing processes.
  • Reduce troubleshooting needs before and after Start of Production.
Possible Tasks within this Role
  • Ensure suppliers meet Group's timing, quality, and capacity requirements.
  • Validate functionality of supplier tooling and equipment.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication of issues and progress:
    • Internally across Group departments.
    • Directly with suppliers.
Qualification Requirements
  • Technical Degree/Diploma in:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Mechatronics
    • Polymer Engineering
Experience Needed
  • Minimum 5 years in:
    • Plastics or injection moulding technologies.
    • Manufacturing processes related to critical parts.
  • Experience in:
    • Tool manufacturing/design.
    • Project management.
