Job description

Northland School Division is seeking a Full-Time Temporary Educational Assistant to work with students at Bill Woodward School.

Location

Anzac School and Bill Woodward School are located in the hamlet of Anzac, approximately 50 kilometres south of Fort McMurray.

Major Responsibilities
  1. Work with children of varied skill levels, needs, and abilities.
  2. Support student academics and individualized learning needs.
  3. Provide tutorial help and support for English Language Learners.
  4. Perform other educational duties as assigned.
Assets and Qualifications
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience (asset).
  • Ability to follow plans and support individualized programs, modifications, and accommodations.
  • Proficiency in educational technology.
  • Candidates with a Grade 12 Diploma will be given preference.
