Role Purpose:To plan, design, and implement material handling, transport, packaging, and logistics systems that ensure efficient material flow supporting production, localisation, P&A, and export projects.
Temp Contract role for 2 yearsThe role also involves managing logistics contracts and driving continuous cost reduction and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and implement logistics projects from start to finish
- Design and improve logistics processes, warehouse layouts, and material handling systems
- Develop and troubleshoot packaging specifications for local and export parts
- Create racking, storage, pallet, and stillage solutions
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through process analysis
- Define user specs for logistics IT systems
- Monitor and document project progress and logistics standards
- Set and track KPIs aligned with project goals
Qualifications Required:- National Diploma or Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
Experience:- 3–5 years in a logistics role within the automotive industry
- 2 years of project management experience
- Experience with CAD systems
Essential Skills:- Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Analytical, planning, and administrative abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and within teams
