The Clinical Sales Consultant will be accountable for managing customer relationships to ensure customers receive value and return on investment from VitalAire products and services. Recognizing opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling through regular contact, including face-to-face visits, and monitoring of customer needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify opportunities and set up meetings with other divisions and/or stakeholders in current customer accounts.
- Educate and inform doctors about VitalAire services, products, and equipment.
- Manage target areas and arrange appointments. Organize group training with doctors, nursing staff, and administration regarding marketing and sales documentation.
- Monitor customer performance and report back to the prescribing doctors.
- Create interest in the product and ensure sales.
- Manage own territory, travel as needed, and monitor development and changes in assigned territories.
- Engage in continuous learning to understand VA products and solutions thoroughly.
- Resolve complaints about products and services, providing after-sales follow-up to ensure excellent service.
- Act as a strategic advisor within customer accounts through research and analysis to understand and anticipate customer needs.
- Follow up on customer queries and complaints through effective interdepartmental communication.
- Establish open communication channels between the customer and relevant departments within VA to ensure satisfaction.
- Prepare effectively for appointments, researching customer needs, market position, industry opportunities, and challenges.
- Contribute to monthly sales reports and track performance against targets.
- Research to build knowledge of territory, industry, market, and competitor trends.
Required Education and Experience :
- Degree/Diploma in Sales and Marketing or equivalent.
- Matric (Senior Certificate).
- 3 to 4 years of sales experience in the medical field.
- Valid driver’s license.
